PARA+NET Knowledge System

Expanded the PARA method into PARA+NET, adding Notes, Events, and Tasks as first-class parts of a connected Obsidian knowledge system.

PARA+NET Knowledge System

The Problem

PARA provides a useful structure for Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archives, but much of my daily information doesn't fit neatly into those categories.

Notes, events, and tasks are not secondary information. They are fundamental objects that connect everything else.

The Solution

I expanded the model into PARA+NET, adding Notes, Events, and Tasks as first-class parts of the system.

I then customized Obsidian and supporting workflows so these different objects could connect rather than live in isolated folders or applications.

The project combines information architecture, workflow design, metadata, interface customization, and automation.
