Multilingual Collaboration System
A shared workspace where English and Japanese users can work on the same content in their own languages while changes remain synchronized.
The Problem
Traditional translation workflows create separate copies of the same information.
When one side edits the English version, the Japanese version can quickly become outdated—and vice versa. That creates duplicated work and makes multilingual collaboration difficult.
The Solution
I built a multilingual collaboration system where English and Japanese users interact with the same underlying content while viewing and editing it in their preferred language.
Changes are synchronized so the system behaves like one shared workspace rather than two translated documents.
The goal was not simply translation. It was designing collaboration around the reality that participants may not share the same language.
